Shipping Policy
Last updated: 23 August 2026
Pre-orders
Tropic’ull officially launches on Wednesday 26 August 2026.
Orders placed before this date are pre-orders and will begin dispatching from Thursday 27 August 2026.
If your order contains a pre-order product, the whole order will usually be dispatched together once every item is available. The expected dispatch date will be shown on the relevant product page.
Where we deliver
We currently deliver to eligible UK addresses.
The available delivery options and applicable charges will be shown during checkout after you enter your delivery address. If no delivery option appears, this means we are currently unable to deliver that order to the address provided.
We do not currently offer international delivery.
Processing and dispatch
Following our launch, we aim to dispatch in-stock orders within 2-3 working days.
Orders are not normally processed or dispatched on weekends or bank holidays. During launches, promotions or particularly busy periods, dispatch may take slightly longer.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. Where tracking is available, this email will include your tracking details.
Delivery estimates begin from the date of dispatch, not the date on which the order was placed. Any delivery timeframe provided is an estimate and cannot be guaranteed.
Delivery charges
Delivery charges are calculated according to the contents, weight and destination of your order. The total delivery charge will be displayed at checkout before payment is taken.
Delivery addresses
Please check that your delivery address is complete and correct before submitting your order.
If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible at info@schmaltzbrew.com. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has entered the packing or dispatch process.
We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer. Additional postage charges may apply if an order has to be sent again.
Delayed or missing orders
Occasional delays can occur after an order has been passed to the delivery provider.
If your order has not arrived within seven working days of your dispatch confirmation, please contact info@schmaltzbrew.com with your name and order number so that we can investigate.
Damaged deliveries
Please check your order as soon as it arrives.
If any cans or packaging have been damaged in transit, contact us at info@schmaltzbrew.com as soon as reasonably possible. Please include:
- Your name and order number
- A description of the problem
- Photographs of the damaged products
- Photographs of the outer packaging and delivery label
Please do not dispose of the product or packaging until we have responded, as the delivery provider may require further information.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 23 August 2026
We hope you enjoy your Schmaltz order. If something is not right, please contact us at info@schmaltzbrew.com and we will do our best to help.
Cancelling a pre-order
You may ask to cancel a pre-order at any time before it has been dispatched.
To request a cancellation, email info@schmaltzbrew.com with your name and order number.
If your order has not entered the packing or dispatch process, we will cancel it and issue a refund to your original payment method. If it has already been dispatched, it will be treated as a return.
Your right to cancel an online order
You normally have the right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving it without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, email info@schmaltzbrew.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include your name, order number and a clear statement confirming that you wish to cancel.
After notifying us, you must return the products within a further 14 days.
Products should be returned unopened, unused, undamaged and in a resaleable condition. You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession.
We may make a reasonable deduction from your refund if the value of the products has been reduced because they have been opened, damaged or handled beyond what would reasonably be permitted when examining them.
Return postage
If you are returning an order because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for arranging and paying for the return.
We recommend using a tracked delivery service and retaining proof of postage. We cannot be responsible for a returned parcel until it has been received by us.
Please contact us before returning anything so that we can provide the correct return instructions and address. Do not send returns to our registered office without contacting us first.
Refunds
When a valid cancellation covers the complete order, we will refund:
- The price paid for the returned products
- The cost of our least expensive standard delivery option, where required by law
Any additional amount paid for an enhanced, express or other non-standard delivery service will not normally be refunded.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. We will process the refund within 14 days of receiving the returned products or receiving satisfactory evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refund in your account.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, contact info@schmaltzbrew.com as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide your order number, an explanation of the problem and clear photographs of the affected products and packaging.
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer:
- A replacement
- A refund
- Another appropriate remedy
If we ask you to return a faulty, damaged or incorrect product, we will cover reasonable return costs.
Products that cannot be returned
We cannot accept returns of:
- Products that have been opened or consumed, unless they are faulty
- Products that have been damaged after delivery
- Products that cannot be resold for health, hygiene or safety reasons after being opened
- Any other products that are legally exempt from cancellation rights
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Proper drinks that stand on their own.
Schmaltz is all about making drinks you actually want. Properly brewed, easy to drink and built for the moments that matter - shared tables, long chats, good company and staying a little longer.
Our Story
We’re a local Hull couple who have always loved beer - not just for what’s in the glass, but for how it fits into life. That first cold sip. The start of a good conversation. A round with friends that turns into another hour around the table.
But when we stopped drinking alcohol, going out often meant choosing from the same limited options. Too often, alcohol-free drinkers were expected to settle for whatever happened to be available.
So we made our own.
Schmaltz was created to deliver that same familiar feeling: a refreshing, sessionable drink that tastes good, looks good and feels right at home in the moment. Something you reach for because you want it - not because it is the only alcohol-free option.
Made in Hull. Rooted in Yorkshire
Where we’re from shapes how we do things. Straightforward, unpretentious and done properly. Hull runs through the beer, the artwork and the way we speak, without making a song and dance about it.
Made for the moment
Schmaltz fits naturally into life: at the pub, around the table, at a gig, at an event or at home. It holds its own whether you’re the only one drinking it or everyone else wants one too.
The alcohol is simply not part of the recipe. Everything else that matters is.
